As one of the most popular flavors in the world, these chocolates have been traditionally famous for consumption, cooking and being given as presents for every single occasion. It is also widely used as courtship ritual. Several health benefits are scientifically proven that has categorized it as "brain-food" which enhances the memory in your brain.
People will always find pleasure when they eat it. But how do they find pleasure of eating it? The fact is, the melting point of most chocolates are slightly lower than the body's temperature. Hence, melting chocolate in one's mouth produced an increase in brain activity and heart rate that was more intense than that associated with passionate kissing.
However, excessive consumption can lead health risks such as obesity and lead poisoning. A person who is addicted to consume chocolate is called as Chocoholic. It can be very harmful if it is consumed by animals such as dogs and cats due to the presence of Theobromine.

Common types of chocolates include Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, sometimes Compound Chocolates, Combination of both or more Chocolates, and even Cocoa Powder (Can you believe that your Cocoa drink is actually chocolate?). Added ingredients are frequently contain inside Chocolates such as peanuts, nuts, fruits, caramel and crisped rice. Additive flavors such as mint are sometimes included to increase the taste.
Prices of chocolates differ not just because of the brands of the products but also the ingredients used and days of processing. The final process of making chocolate is called tempering which influences the hardness of the chocolate.
In conclusion, we should appreciate the use of chocolate in our daily lives and control the amount of consumption so that we can live happily and healthily ever after.
