The Accident Hint...

I've had enough listening to my dad's "lecture" about his dreams of my marriage for about three or four months to me. But I didn't mean to tell him the truth this afternoon that I don't wanna get married (with a woman) and have children while he was driving me and my mom home from my sister's place. I understand that he was so shocked and at the same time, disappointed with my sincere answer to his "dreams". All of us then went into deep silence in the moving vehicle until we all reached home...

I'm so sorry that I accidentally gave him the first hint of confession to my own dad about my sexual orientation. I really didn't mean to do that...

Offered myself to help my dad pasting the poetic banners he has written for upcoming Chinese New Year just now. He was talking to me like usual... I know it's obvious that he was trying to break the ice... But is he trying to accept the fact?

The Closet Pressure...

The world outside from the door looks beautiful & less stressful than staying in with roses decorated around. But will you take the risk of passing through the unseen thorns and experience unexpected dangers outside?

Coming out, is a phase when people announce their sexual orientation. Although I've partially come out within people I know especially friends, I still remain closeted in my family. Today is just another day that I heard another homophobic statement from my dad to my brother in a moving van on the way back home.

"Son, the youngest uncle of yours is a faggot. He's nothing but a total loser that he french kissed a man and someone on the street saw it. Damn disgusting!"

I kept quiet and looked outside the window... It was raining... and because of the quote, I've actually noticed that I'm being noted not to let anyone in my family know that I'm actually gay. I can't imagine any further if my dad finds out one day by reading this blog... Freaky, really freaky...
